Welcome to My Red Cape. Long ago in another time my husband Jack and I lived in a little old red house. It was the stuff of dreams to us for the few years that we were there. I live there still a number of hours every day in imagination, with old dolls and paintings and fabrics and feather trees. I draw inspiration and happiness from the memories of that space in time and share some of it here with friends who remember how to step with Alice through the looking glass and take delight in whimsies and antiquities. ~Edyth O’Neill

issues about posting here!

Hi, please forgive the long time away, I have had computer issues! Maybe the computer is fine and the issues are my own, I am having to learn new ways of handling photos and mail. I am such a visual person, it is a strong part of my emailing and blogging to include pictures of everything we do. I am beginning to learn where some of the functions are again, right clicking and experimenting. I shall overcome!!!

I am painting a lot lately, and have finally gone back to one I started a while back of Hailey our 16 year old Granddaughter, at the age of 2 1/2. I cropped a tiny picture of her from a group shot and love her expression for my painting.

All well here but the lack of rain, there is hope for some soon. When many parts of the country have had unbeliveable weather problems, I hate to complain above a whisper! The dreadful fires here is Texas are scarey. e
